International Experience

I have had the opportunity to teach English in Bali, Indonesia as well as Ghana, Africa. Through the organization Global Leadership Adventures, I have explored various cultures and immersed myself in underserved areas around the globe. Learning about different cultures has allowed me to understand and appreciate numerous traditions and has given me the ability to adjust to various environments. I have also learned the importance of broadening my worldview as these experiences have enhanced my social skills and given me insight into my strengths and weaknesses. These experiences have also accelerated my professional development skills by allowing me to collaborate with international partners to create learning material. Finally, these experiences have given me the chance to make an impact, and have taught me what I bring to the table in terms of assisting large communities.
